Michael Hamill | Director

Michael co-founded RAH Partners in 2006. Prior to this he was at JPMorgan which he joined in September 2001 and where he was a member of the Legal Department advising on all aspects of derivatives and traded products before moving to the Sales and Marketing group covering Emerging Markets, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

Prior to joining JPMorgan, Michael headed the trading and derivatives legal group at Deutsche Bank in London, which he joined in 1995. Previously he worked for the legal departments of Westpac Banking Corporation (1994-1995) and Credit Agricole Indosuez (1991-1994).

Michael has been a Barrister since 1989.


Rhian-Anwen Hamill (nee Roberts)| Director

Rhian-Anwen co-founded RAH Partners in 2006. Her search career previously was at The Rose Partnership, where she headed the Wealth and Asset Management practice and at Whitehead Mann where she specialised in private wealth management.

Rhian-Anwen holds a degree in English from Cambridge University. Her career began in equity sales at Goldman Sachs, where she remained for seven years before moving to Salomon Brothers.

She spent two years as Joint Project Director of The Wales Millennium Centre, a £100 million arts centre in Cardiff, Wales, where she was for a while a Board Member.

She is currently Vice President for the Hay on Wye Festival of Literature and was recently a Board Member of the Development Appeal at St.George's Chapel, Windsor. She speaks fluent French and Welsh.


Ellen Yaffe | Director

Ellen joined RAH Partners in March 2014, and is based in Geneva Switzerland. Prior to this, she was a Managing Director and Head of Strategic Resourcing for Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, based in London and Paris. She joined Barclays in 2006 from The Rose Partnership where she was a Director of the company and the head of the firm's Global Markets search practice which covered Structured Finance, Capital Markets, and Foreign Exchange.

Ellen began her career in Human Resources, working in the pharmaceutical industry and subsequently in financial services.

She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labour Relations from Cornell University. She moved to London from New York in 1994 and speaks fluent French.


Samantha Cooke | Consultant

Samantha joined RAH Partners in 2006 having previously worked with Rhian-Anwen at The Rose Partnership where she specialised in private wealth management. Prior to that she worked at Whitehead Mann where she worked on a range of searches across wealth and asset management, retail banking and insurance. Her career in London started with Robert Walters before joining SHP Associates, sister company to Sainty Hird & Partners. After graduating she worked in recruitment in Cape Town.

She holds a degree in Economics and Industrial Psychology from the University of Cape Town.


Veronica Rose | Consultant

Veronica joined RAH Partners in October 2009. Her executive search career spans six and a half years in Whitehead Mann’s London office, working in the retail banking and insurance division, and three and a half years with Korn/Ferry International in Australia and London, where she specialised in the consumer and media sectors. Her earlier career was spent in senior marketing and product roles in Asia Pacific for what was then the world’s largest conference company.

This included the roles of Marketing Director for their highly profitable Pan Asian division and also Marketing Director of Australia and New Zealand. She holds a BA Hons in English Literature from Cardiff University.


Judith Clark | Office Manager & Assistant

Judith joined RAH Partners in January 2016.  Prior to joining RAH, Judith spent 16 years working for Doughty Hanson & Co, an independent European Private Equity fund manager, where she worked in their Tax Department as a PA/Tax Assistant and also worked closely with the Legal Team.

Her earlier career was spent in Newcastle upon Tyne, where for 14 years she was a PA for Ryecroft Glenton, one of the North East’s largest independent Chartered Accountancy firms.
